Got to get out with my brother Digger and he did get the better find but I managed to pull these from an old fair ground we have hit over the years. Its been a corn-bean field since 1920. The IH 1891, V nickel 1904, Barber dime 1899. Still got beat with a seated dime, and a very nice one at that. We had a great time and got rid of the cabin fever for a bit.

Any time we can get out detecting in December is a good day, Bill. And finding silver is a bonus. I may have found an extra silver dime on this particular hunt, but you still have me beat with the silver 3 cent piece you found earlier at this site. Not to mention that seated half you pulled out from under the bean stubble! Hopefully the weather holds up for a hunt Saturday. If we make it out on December 31, it will undoubtedly be the last hunt of this year. Of course, there is always the possibility that we will hunt again on Sunday. Making it the first hunt of the new year! HH Randy
