my brother and i went to a place where an old house had been moved a couple months back.this place was on a very busy street and we pulled onto the driveway which put us about 20 feet off the street.as he starts out he asked me which side i wanted, and itdid'nt matter so he went left and i went right.as i stepped off the asphalt i got an immediate hit over a piece of asphalt.when i dug out a small amount of dirt i tried the hole and got no reading.checked the removed part and got no reading.a good reading just disappeared,so i worked my way to the bottom of the hill, finding nothing but old mobile bricks and trash.what i found was worth several silvers.spring water coming from farther up the hill which was heavily wooded.just stand there and watch the water flow withdifferent colored leaves floating along.the smell of the water was great.i know of only two other places that beautiful and i have'nt been there in years.after just looking and enjoying the scenery a while i started back up the hill to where my brother was sitting down resting.(he's only 80 yrs.young) he told me to sit down before he showed me what he found..16 inches from where i lost my first signal he sat down, looked down and saw an arrow head.this thing is in perfect shape, light grey in color.just goes to show you that you don't see it all and don't find it all.no way to know how many men walked over that arow head while moving that house.i finally found one game token and 2 zinc's.he found one clad dime and 2 zinc's and the arrow head we both enjoyed our time out together detecting and getting into some beautiful places.sorry i can't report a lot of finds and can't post a pic,but it was a day well spent for us.hope the rest of you guys can enjoy the hobby and the scenery..lol
