DD Coil

Better target separation, more reliable visual ID and better sensitivity, which means that you are more likely to detect small coins.
Mick Evans.

Ive just ordered a 6"HF coil from Backwoods. If soil is mineralized the DD coil really helps with GBing and deeper than concentric but if soil is mild then a concentric will give better depth. I have a 19hz GBSE and it is great on small deeper coins. Ive been diging wheaties and dimes at 3 to 5 inches in areas Ive hunted with alot of different machines. I went to DD because of soil here in Mecklenburg County, NC. Lots of gold mines in Mint Hill area and concentric is so noisy and having to GB all the time.

Add DEPTH to Mick's post, with the 10.5DD's:thumbup:
