Hi Fred,
I has taken a long time to find the source of a cable that is both rugged enough, and with a low enough capacity, to be suitable for a DD coil. I have now found such a cable, and after testing a sample length, ordered a 100m drum which arrived yesterday. We have windings and shells already prepared, so DD coil manufacture can now commence. At least a couple of DD's will be ready to ship to Mr Bill in about one week. This cable also has the advantage that the detector does not "see" the braid, even if the cable is flexed near the coil.
Eric.

Thanks Eric;
I will calm down and wait patiently. The Mono coil on The GQSSv.2 is more stable than other PI coils I have used on other PI machines...no false signals when I bunp it or when I touch the cable...I can hardly wait to give it a go at nugget hunting!
