Shipping my De Leon to Tesoro for repairs. I got it out today. Loaded it with fresh batteries and the thing just went nuts. Wouldn't quiet down and displaying all kinds of VDIs Its a great detector so hope they can fix it for me. I bought it used on Ebay.(Never again).

eBay is not always the bad way to go. Just when you buy detectors assume it may need to be shipped in for retuning , and pay accordingly.

Mike

Ps: I m sure Tesoro will have it humming when it comes back.

Where were you when you turned the machine on? If it was inside (with lots of electricty near by) or outside close to a powerline you will get that type of behavior or at least I did with the one I owned. Jimmie

Tesoro website says warranty is only for original owner.

We will fix any of our units. If you don't have the warranty, there maybe a fee charge to you depending what it is!

Thanks Robert, I shipped it out to day by UPS. Itll Be there on Tue.
