I have recently purchased a second hand deepstar and wondered if anyone can tell me where I should set the Frequency control button to..
All the others are straight forward..
Also is there a manual I could download

I would set it mid point to start with. It's there to aid the used for dealing with interferance caused by outside sources. Such as being to close to a fellow detectorest.

Mr Bill, thx for your prompt response..
Any Idea about a downloadable Manual

There is not a downloadable manual, but email me your address and I will post one.
Sometimes local low frequency radio transmitters cause interference, which shows up as an excessively irregular threshold. Just shift the Frequency Control slightly until a quiet point is found.
Eric.
