Deepstar vs. Deepstar II

I wasn't around when the changes were made to the Deepstar to the Deepstar II. What were they?
 
Been so long I think I forgot.
I'm sure it was the addishion of the SAT control, and they were some small circuit changes.

Self Adjusting Threshold? Is that what it is? And can the SAT be turned off and adjust it manually?

The SAT is always working but you can slow it down considerably, aiding in slow motion, deep detecting, and pin pointing.
Conversely, one can also speed it up to aid in handling rough ground mineralization conditions.
