HAS ANYONE NOTED WHERE FROM 1 TO 100 THE GOLD RINGS SHOW UP?
REALIZE IT CAN BE ANYWHERE BUT WONDERED IF ANY NUMBERS CAME UP MORE OFEN THAN OTHERS
GOT 61 OR 62 ON MY AIR TEST FOR AN 18K RING
DELTA FOUND A KEY TAG THIS WEEK WITH 316L ON IT
SURPRISED WHEN I TYPED IT IN GOOGLE
GOT IMMEDIATE ANSWER
MEANS LOW GRADE STAINLES STEEL
ANYONE HAVE NUMBERS ON CANADIAN COINS
NUMBERS ALONE NOT ENOUGH TO PEG THEM
ANY TIPS FOR CDN COINS ESPECIALLY CLAD QUARTERS LOONIES AND TOONIES?

New loonies hit in low iron range on my gold bug pro. There horrible-hit 22 I do beleave.I been running all metal - most if not all new loonies be on top I check quick shape and size with pinpointer,a strong magnet picks them right up(I use my prospecting earth magnet pickerupper).I been thinking of builing a pull magnet and magnet sweaping my area before detecting.

Like the rest of current Canadian currency, the loonie is now a multi-ply plated steel composition. Not surprised that they show up in the iron range.
