Delta 4000 (with help from MickTwin) finds gold!

The other day I was in a park and found my first gold. It wasn't marked, but looked solid - not plated or showing signs of wear. I had two jewelers test it. Positive on 14k gold, but the diamonds are fake. It was at the bottom of a hill, perhaps a sledding loss. I'll keep it awhile in case I see anything in the lost and found.

It was half buried, but I probably would have not seen it had my Delta not sounded off (nickel range), I was using the least bit of discrimination (set at 10).

Awesome find. 2 weeks ago i found 3 silver rings on the beach area of the river and a gold ring in the water with my delta 4000 with 10 inch coil. Sorry no pics. Gotta love the deltas!
