Depth Gauge

Hi All,

I am a newbie and would like to know the increments of the depth indicator on the Safari. I assume that the bar represents 12 inches, but this is not indicated in the manual.

The LCD screen is easy to read and very intuitive. It tells you what search mode you are in (one of the four preset modes or one of the four custom modes that you can create and save) along with battery strength, target depth (up to 12 deep), target ID (in the form of a number ranging from -10 to +40, a picture icon for

2 inches an increment,but it relies on the target being coin sized,a coke can at six inches will read as a coin on the surface.
