Depth in trash areas

What settings does everyone run wile hunting trashy areas ??? And do you still get good depth ???

I have run in auto sens with high trash set, and still had good luck. If not auto not less then about 15/16.

But I do use a smaller coil. I also use sometimes, all metals, just to see what I might find

6x8 SEF DD, hi trash, auto sens with LOTS of discrimination depending on how much trash tolerance I feel that day. I always open 14-15 cause most people screen out nickels in hi trash areas and I score lots of war nickels that way. as you develop an ear for it, you can tell most nickels from most pulltabs. i'll take a dollars worth of war nickels over a dollars worth of silver coins any day!

Hunting woman's small gold rings same as above except 4 thru 10 open,Everything else closed.Will also find costume jewelry,V nickels,flying eagle cents,fatty Indian heads,steel pennies not sure why with this program, but works.

I have been collecting/digging pull tabs aluminium is 64 cents a pound.Got a signal read 17 was 6 inches deep instead of pull tab was 3 Buffalo's stacked on top of each other.

Got a signal 19,4 inches deep,was buffalo with mercury on bottom.

Way do you hunt in Conductive? I thought FE gave a better signal.

Could you explain more please. Interesting...

FE no difference than Conductive but works better in extreme iron trash,If the iron is that extreme I use a different brand of detector,Minelabs cannot recover fast enough for extreme iron nature of the beast.I can ID a target better in conductive.

What about the sound?

What is the other md you use, my backup is my old white's prizm. What kind of sounds do you get, deep tones?
