Mine weighs 3 pounds 8 ounces.
The coil can probably be submerged in water but not the control unit.

It's a very simple to set up detector with four built in programs that you can adjust.
If a target is close to the coil it shows '45' on the control unit so you just lift the coil to get the proper VDI.
I dug a buffalo nickel on my property that was as deep as the tip of my fingers almost to my elbow. I was so amazed. It was historic depth for me. And that was with the 9" coil!
Like any detector, you need to learn the difference between falsing off iron and a real target.

That's what it says on website. I'll weigh it when I get it and know for sure.

You need to write a review on it Tony.----- A lot of here would be interested in reading it.

Yes,I agree,a detailed review would be great.Im really interested in this machine, but YouTube or even written reviews in the stats are non existent.

Does anyone know if there is a manual for download anywhere?

i was trying to find out if you can notch indivual VDI. Anyone know?

Most of the youtube video are in a foreign language.

Thanks,

Harold

You cannot notch individual VDI's.

At the bottom of the screen is a line with increments on it. While you are detecting you can adjust the disc on the fly by pressing the right arrow for more disc or left arrow for less disc.

Tony,

I watched a few videos on youtube and it seems like the machine is pretty noisy. A bunch of chatter. Do you find yours to be that way?

Harold
