With what Erik has been posting, this doesn't seem like much, but it was a good hunt for me. Went to old ballfield where I was told there was no silver left. Well I proved him wrong again. Seems like every time I go there I get at least one silver. Nothing but dimes but I'll take them. Has to be a quarter or half hiding out somewhere.

Heck, that's a winner outing for sure. Those dimes are pretty good at hiding sometimes it seems - congrats on coaxing them out.

That's great for a well hunted place!!

I have noticed the same lack of larger silver at some of the parks I've been hunting....a good amount of silver dimes(partially masked or unmasked) and handfuls of wheats, but very few silver quarters or halfs. I suppose those were much easier targets for the machines to detect back in the 80's and 90's.

Good Luck!
