Detecting I do sometimes I want to cover large areas

You might want to try what I do every once in awhile if you want to walk the beach and detect instead of the slow pace I go. I have a older PI surfmaster with a scuff cover. I hip mount it and pull the coil along behind me as I walk a regular pace down or up the beach. These PI's will pick up a signal at any walking speed. when it hits a target, I stop and dig. once I got sixteen coins, and a silver pendent in a hundred yards doing that. I found over forty coins and two pieces of silver in a couple of hours. Plus I got to see the sites, Girls, Grils, and Girls, Oh I mean waves, birds, seals......sorry honey. oops! Gene

Hey Gene you could put a spreader pvc bar on it and drag two at a time....a lot like trolling for fish....good idea you have good luck Dan PS
