Detecting in San Marcos, TX & Beach Find from Galveston

Hi Folks! My friend Jonetta and I got out detecting today for a few hours in San Marcos,TX. We found a park near a swimming area and thought we would see if we could dig some goodies. Here is a pic of a few of the goodies I found today. 2 mercs. one is 1920 and the other is 1942. A 52 wheatie and a junk chain & a Chinese coin. My friend was using her new ace 250 that she got for Christmas. I took her for her first trip to the Beach in Galveston, TX Sat. and she found her first Gold ring w/ a diamond!!! I found 1 gold ring and one silver ring at the beach. I don't have pics of my rings yet but I do have a pic of her ring that I am going to try and post here. Enjoy!
