Hi Guys need your Info on the Explorer 2 saw one in action on the week end his finds were awsomme.Right now i use a whites MXT and an IDX pro.We were doing a colonial site i found a copple coppers but nothing compared to what he pulled. With his Mine lab. My Hunting Partner And My Self Were Impresed He did the same ares we did with our whites .I'am not a newbee any info whould really help as to going Minelab. Thanks Jim  :canadaflag:

I think you answered your own question. Sold my DFX months ago and went EX2 and never looked back:minelab:

All it takes is seeing an experienced Minelab user pull seated dimes, shield nickels and indian heads out of your very own worked out park to make you a believer. I know my CZs are good, and I am good with them, but the Explorer seems to ID correctly at a deeper depth. If I maxed out my sens and dug only deep hits on the CZ (regardless of the meter reading) I'm sure I would get a lot of older coins... and a lot of junk as well as blisters! We place too much trust in the meters and the tones most of the time, so any machine that ID's better at depth is going to be a winner.

look at the explorer xs. a little slower but just as deep. i got one with the sunray probe (a must no matter which model you decide on) for $475...good luck
