Detecting Places

I will be visiting the N.D and S.D from Canada. I would like to know the the places I can detect. I am aware that all National Parks are off limits and some State Parks and all heritage sites. Is there other places I cannot go? I am thinking about the Black Hills / Rapid City area and places in between.

I was in Rapid City about a month ago. I don't know about places that you cant go but I think city parks are OK. If you can get to "Founders park" you may have some luck :)

I found it by accident, just driving by I wanted to get away from traffic and there was no people at this park I only had a short time to hunt before dark but under a big willow tree I found a Black Hills gold and silver ring and Mercury dime.

Its called Founders park because the "founders of the city camped there while laying out the plans for the city. Its in the planning to be developed with sidewalks and parking lot restrooms and such, so be sure to check it out before the goodies get covered up:thumbdown:
