...Marcia and I went next door today,detecting the neighbor's house,they are gone for the winter....We found one old button,and a bunch of modern coins,and THEN!!!-I got me a "nickel"reading on my trusty Garrett 1350GTP,and out of the ground popped a nice 1912 "V" nickel.I have found 3 or 4 of these,over the years,and all of them have been extremely corroded,this one I found today was too...must have been a lot of copper in these coins,time surely is NOT a friend to these coins....Steve...BY THE WAY:This house has an extremely large back yard,and I have this feeling,there may be some nice old silver ,maybe even some nice old rings;waitin to see the light of day.I shall keep you updated,as to my finds....
