Hello i use explorer but want to know about etrac. time to time I read that in etrac discrimination already is incorporated in program, even detecting without discrimination? can anyone explain what is different and how its effects performance on etrac compare with explorer... I use explorer without discrimination what it would be different on etrac? thanks, Stasys

I think the discrepancy here, is in terms used. To some people, when they blank out the screen to accept all metals, they term that as being in "all-metal", simply because, the machine will beep (albeit with a corresponding tone TID's) to "all metals". But that's not truly "all-metal", since, of course, your ears can determine highs vs. low conductors, based on the tones/sounds. Ie.: you can still elect to pass iron, for instance, that is a low growl in ferrous. So to me, that's not true "all-metal", even though you may be hearing "all metals".

True all-metal, would be a pinpoint mode, where there is no distinction between anything. Ala like the old vlf all-metal modes :)
