Detector Rack?

Has anyone constructed a stand or rack to safely store detectors? I keep my EX II under my bed and my son's detector as all over the place. My wife wants to kill us both. So, I'm wondering if any of you have thought of a nice neat way to hang, lean or lie, your detectors, similar to say, a gun rack...
