OK, here's an unusual request but one I've tried to have filled for years.
My first detector was a an old Viking detector . . . a single knob BFO bought from the pages of Popular Mechanics. It has a two-piece, non-adjustable shaft and a 6-inch coil. Basic is an understatement but it was my first detector and unfortunately I traded it to a friend in High School many moons ago.
For sentimental reasons I have tried to find one over he years with no luck. If you have one in the closet or find one at an estate sale, I am VERY interested.
Hate to set myself up but the price is open . . . . . really want one and you can either have cash or I'll trade you for a current detector - your choice.
Thanks in advance for any leads on this one . . . . have a photo of me and my brother using it if one thinks they have one.
