Deus arm cuff stand

D&P-OR

Well-known member
When setting the Deus down to dig a target, the feet on the arm cuff are so short that the shaft (beneath the hand grip where those two screws are) sets on the ground & the cuff feet don't even touch the ground.----It's going to wear on the shaft (beneath the hand grip) from setting it down in rough ground/small rocks.---Does anyone have a solution how to build up the arm cuff feet (longer) or any other solution to this so as to get it up a little higher on the ground?-----Those little narrow cuff feet make the detector "tipsy" also---but flattening the coil to the ground (when digging a target) alleviates that problem.-----My question/concern is how to (somehow) build the cuff feet up a little longer (or replacing the stock cuff with another).------Am I missing something here & has anyone else dealt with this?----Or am I the only nut in the cookie jar?:)----------Del

The cuff is real disappointment to me as well , I don't care how much you can bend it backward without breaking it.
I'd like to see a formable light weight metal cushioned cup like the F75 available with some longer feet as well. So much easier to slide the arm in molded cup than have to use the strap.
Some one will come out with one soon---maybe Anderson

I think there's room in that cookie jar for all of us!

I had the same problem and when I would put the Deus down on a hill it would take off and roll half way down the hill.
Here is what I did to solve both of the issues.
It doesn't have much weight and I hardly notice it.
Before I zip tied it to the shaft I put a small piece of that non-skid shelf stuff in there to keep it steady and then cinched it up tight..
I also painted it black.
I have an extra I made and painted black if you are interested for cost of parts and shipping.
