Deus Bootcamp was outstanding!

Attended the bootcamp this past weekend and it was awesome! Both Andy and Jeremy are stand up guys and really know this machine. The class was extremely informative and I came away with a lot more knowledge on the Deus. Before the class I did ok with the Deus in the factory programs, now I understand the settings and how they change what the machine does and what it is really telling me. This really is an outstanding machine with huge potential. As far as the Bootcamp goes, if you can swing it, I highly recommend it. You Wont be sorry. Thank you Andy and Jeremy and I look forward to seeing both you guys again in the future.

Glad you enjoyed the weekend and I know Jeremy and I enjoyed meeting each one of you . . . . . this is a great hobby that brings some great people together - and when we get together as a group, we are defintely greater then the indivuals pieces . . .

All of you raised some good questions that made us think and work through somne unique challenges which will make all of us better hunters.

Looking forward to seeing some of the finds you make in your local areas

I wanted to learn how to really dial the Deus in and get the most out of it. I have hunted with a lot of machines, still do, the deus is another valuable tool in my arsenal. The bootcamp starts you at the basic and builds all the way to the advanced settings. Some of my questions were about the reactivity and the silencer and how they affected other settings when changed. I definitely came away with a good understanding of the machine and how to set it up for whatever type hunting I am doing. One of the really handy things was learning about the XY screen and how to use it.

No Van you didnt take it wrong stix and this other fella sekypaleo feel the attendees owe thing a step by step explanation or video for free, however if you think the bootcamp was a broken down interpretation of andys book, I am sure you own one and will not need that video any longer as the class would be a waste of your fellas time. Listen our attendees owe you 2 nothing, I am sure if you do not want to attend our class that your dealer would sit down and go over things with you as I do for my customers.

The audacity here just absolutely blows me away, I have sat back silent and read all these post since the weekend ended and have stayed silent but at this point its gotten beyond ridiculous. I do not travel the country to help fellow deus users for free, now if I had a money tree in my backyard I would be glad to but I do not, so myself and Andy have to charge a minimal fee to cover our travel expenses and lodging and food, we also pay down each persons room so they can get a better rate, with that said I am sure your not paying it forward to your boss this week either by working for free>>> So please stop trying to make all the attendees and future attendees feel bad for not sharing what they've learned. I dont understand how you have nothing better to do than try and start trouble... My number is listed at the bottom of this post.. Before you judge my character or Andys you should learn who we are, I drove 3 hours one way just a few weeks back to get a detector from a guy whom stole it from another guy in NH, I do these things because I have met some of the best people in the world in this hobby and I enjoy sharing my knowledge, but when you guys ask these questions and make your statements about the class it just looks bad

My thoughts are if you want to know what was learned at Bootcamp then signup and find out for your self. Other than that my hopes are those that can attend take what they have learned and put it to the field with some good results. I can always ask one of those who attended Bootcamp for suggestions to better my settings right? Why would I expect them to hand me over something for free they paid for? Well, unless I'm a Liberal LOL. OK just kidding.

Jeremy, you and Andy are doing a good thing with these Boot Camp training sessions...don't let the dark side pull you guys down. Spending too much time on these guys that feel "Entitled" just takes the positive energy out of the work you guys are doing...just as it is this country. (No apologies) Keep signing up those that are willing to make the commitment of their time and money to learn from the masters.

I'll see you guys in a class when you make it to the Gulf Coast area....will be happy to help coordinate setting one up in this area when the demand makes sense to do so..

Thanks guys...

It was good to meet you Van, but to everyone else on the forum I'll add to your testimonial.

I hunted a spot about 50 yards x 50 yards with the Deus before the bootcamp and found 4 miniballs.

I went back after the boot camp and dug 9 miniballs, an eagle breast plate (most of it anyway, bad shape), and a knapsack hook.

Results speak for themselves, I was hunting very bad ground full of hot rocks and red clay. Maybe 50% of the signals weren't showing TID's, but I picked up enough from the class and conversations to know how to handle that kind of situation and I did very well.

I was using Basic 2 and Relic the first time, second time I just used a custom program that I made from his example programs.

Andy even took the time to help me with a Culpeper VA program which ground conditions will be way worse. That's just something you can't pick up from the book alone, which is very good, if you're a Deus owner without it, then you're not near the full potential of this machine.

CHacuff i appreciate it and if you EVER need anything or maybe just have a question be sure to call me, I also keep everything in stock, so you need a detector or accessory call me thanks for the kind words. we will see you in a couple months or you can come over to orlando fl

That is awesome! It is amazing how much more comfortable I am with the Deus. I have a few places that I really want to get back into and apply my new knowledge. Some real trashy spots that I am sure the Deus will shine in. Good job in your spot there, I would definitely keep hitting it.

You have fixed me up already with the Deus and both coils in addition to the V3i bought from you...I'll be back for more at some point.
