Deus brings home the gold

Been missing hunting my tot lots all summer so when schools started this Wednesday I couldn't wait to make the rounds. I just love the Deus with the 9" to death in the tot lots. First tot lot we hit gave up the gold. A nice penny sized 14k gold earring. I couldn't see the stamp but it had the right look and read a 37-39 using my custom tot lot program. I like this program because I have found a lot of cheap rings made of steel that have been missed by out other detectors. Iron gives that normal grunt but a steel ring will give a slightly higher solid sound and a VDI around 3-4.

Yep, I hear a lot of great finds in tot lots but I have never found anything but change and junk jewelry at the ones I worked.
