Deus Frequencies

Don't have one but would LOVE to own one soon. Question though, does the machine run in only one frequecy at a time? I know it has 4 frequencies, but i've only been reading and seeing where people put it in one frequecy and adjust it as they like.

The Deus has 4 possible frequencies rounded off they are 4,8,12,18 they all have their uses. I'm using 8 most of the time in the USA. I run 18 in England. The Deus runs with one of the frequency at a time.

Sometime next year there is a few new items being released including at least " i hope " 1 or more ? coils , it or they will run on 10 , 20 , 30 , 40 khts but there are a few people that think they will be run together , i hope so.
There is a new V4 up grade at the same time.

When I attended boot camp in June there was no mention that I recall about mutli frequency

Maybe when they say multi freq, they mean it has more than 1 operating freq but not at the same time ? but my take is that multi freq is at the same time ?? we'll have to see what happens . Live in hope.

Same here. When I hear multi-frequency I'm thinking multiple frequencies simultaneously not the ability to change to a different frequency. Although, I suppose it could be taken either way.

What will the 30 and 40 frequencies find or be best suited for?

I think they are for Gold prospecting , but if the new coil can ? go multi freq like the FBS and i'm not saying it will or can then that will make the new coil very good on the salt wet . Only thing i am not sure is how deep it will be , being only 9 or so by about 5 inches . may be all right on some sand beaches but not so good on deep shingle beaches where coins and rings sink deep .
I really cant wait for the new products then i can start using my Deus more on the beach .

I can tell you for a fact the 9 inch stock coil routinely gets me coins at 9-10 inches. I see no reason the new coil will not do the same.

I was hoping to hear they were simultaneous frequencies and not just a single frequency, that can be changed. Only because I hunt the beach half a year, and ground the other half. I've got beach machines, but would love to "justify" buying a deus lol. Wouldn't it running in multiple frequencies at a time also help in highly mineralized dirt? Seems it already does well in it though.
