Deus goes crazy next to BH 2200

I've been hunting with a buddy who uses a BH 2200. If I get within 15 feet of him with my Deus in 8,12 or 18KHz, my detector just goes haywire. I believe the BH operates somewhere around 6 kHz so don't understand why it would interfere with the Deus. Anyone have an explanation or better yet a solution other than the obvious of staying more than 15 feet apart. Thanks

How about 4K? Do you have another coil to try? Any other detectors cause this to your machine? Do you know anyone else with a Deus to help you duplicate this issue? Have you tried offsetting your frequencies? Does the problem occur when your buddy is detecting normally or when he/she is using all metal mode?

Just some thoughts to consider.
