Deus Program Settings

unearth

Member
I've notice on several posts that when someone is describing the set up of their machine, they give all the settings except which program they start with. So I'm left wondering what program did they start with, Deus fast, Relic, Basic etc. Have I missed a reason for this?

I don't think it matters, I may be wrong. Say you pop into basic program. Change the disc, reactivity/silencer, set your tone breaks, freq, I leave TX on 2 always, sens as desired. As long as all the settings are to your liking, your set. Mind you the beach mode and gold field would be different. All the normal land modes are interchangeable as long as they are all set up the same way. Make sense. I don't even remember which program I originally used to set my own program. And even when I select my own program I will makes changes on the fly while detecting as I see fit. Especially the reactivity/silencer settings, freq would be my next most often changed when detecting. I don't run 4khz much, mostly 8 and 12 khz. In real bad iron I use 18khz. I only have one program I use and make changes to it as I see fit. No beach around here. May play with the gold field program a little in the future to see what it's about. Cheers.
PS I think the same can be said of the White's V3i.

Does not matter. BUT be sure to save with a new name or you will wipe a program out, if it is a custom one you start with. (Stock ones can not be saved over).
