Well-known member
Anyone used the DEUS for fresh water hunting?

Thanks

Aaron

This is what I would use around wetter sites:

I know several people inclusing myself that have used it for that purpose and done very well with it . . . . it hits small gold better than anything else other than the Tigershark which loves small gold.

Terry from Michigan has posted several photos of his finds in the water and I included photos of his haul in the book as well. The book covers what is needed to go in the water including making it clear as to what type fo cable is needed . . . and several posts have made it more complicated than it needs to be.

Hope this helps

Andy

Thanks Andy.
Yes, I have a Tiger Shark and it's the best machine I've used for small gold so far in water, however Ive been hunting in a very old park with lots of old iron in the water and that's what I'm thinking the edge is the DEUS will have over the Shark.
