Deus strikes GOLD

Hit a TotLot at a school that I don't think gets hit to often.
30 min. and pulled over $3.00 in clad and a nice Gold ring.
One thing that the Deus has is a bunch of power and it makes it tough to hunt the structures.
I pulled the ring out from about 6" from a pole and down about 8".
You have to listen for a blip in the tones of the poles and then move real slow over the area to pick it out.
Practice, Practice, Practice....
I think I'm getting the hang of it...
I haven't tried changing up the programs yet, but guess that will be the next step.
I kind of like the KISS way...

Now thats some good work, and a very helpful tip for anybody totlottin'...:clapping:..listen for that weird blip in the overload.

Nice work in the tot lot !! I like to get up next to the apparatus, get the tone and the drag away listening for a second tone. I have used this method with many detectors and it works for me. Sounds like you have got it down. The Deus is a great machine and I am loving mine !!

I've never found gold or silver in a tot lot, just junk/kids jewelry. I don't hunt them often for that reason.
However I am amazed at what others often find. I may have to reconsider during this dry season!
Nice job on the near structure ring!
