Deus tipping over

Jay80

Member
The legs on the Deus are short and it tips over easily.A quick and inexpensive fix is:
Cut a 1 inch wide ring from a 4" diameter PVC pipe.
Cut a section from the ring approximately 40 percent.
Paint it black if you want.
Attach it to the Deus using zip ties.

You could use ABS pipe and it's already black.
Another way is to cut a 6" piece of 3/4" pipe, put caps on the ends and screw it to the feet as you did your arched piece.

Didn't think of ABS pipe, but had a piece of PVC laying around. Your method sounds good also.

Loosen your coil bolt. put the detector down and coil goes flat. Pick it up tap the ground to aline and your set. no need to build anything.
Get out there.

I made one using 2 separate pivoting “wings” that when pulled out are about 3” each, they tuck away when not in use and weigh nothing.
