Deus WS4 / Newbie Question

Hello all, newbie here. I know this is going to sound dumb but which way are you suppose to wear the WS4s? Just got my Deus and tried it out yesterday for first time. Does the back phones go on with the controller on your left ear or right? Either way does not seem very comfortable to me. Did not see anything in manual. Thinking controller on left ear so frame maybe sits up above ear, Is this correct? Thanks!

Sorry, figured it out! Apparently it goes on the left ear (WS4 controller)so the frame can be on top. Have it on as we speak, not very comfortable at all on left ear.

A Tip always think of them as back phones and put them on from the back of the upper neck forward.

In the early days many failed to do this and damaged the bridging band.

Some folks use this set up for the hot summer weather and in the winter fit the puck controller to a full headset.

A couple of manufactures make the full headset converters.

Happy Hunting,

Jerry. :)

you really need to check into some after market Headphones such as Vances Muffs or if you can Find them Detecnix or there are also some called Doodads that are great and comfortable . I like you found the WS4s very uncomfortable and did not set right

Thanks everyone for the suggestions! Yes, I believe I may get a full set for the wintertime. Just tried to fit a toboggan over the WS4s, not too good. BTW I do have another dumb question: Trying to figure out how to remove the puck without breaking the WS4s. Not sure which way to push or pull. If I have the main puck in my hand with the + button on the right, do I push right, left, up or down? I am thinking push to right but not sure, do not want to break. Thanks again to everyone helping a newbie!

You are correct in saying push to the right, bit of thumb pressure on the edge alongside the minus towards the + with other finger tips on the foam covering around the + side and it should slide off easily.

Thanks John, got it off, worked great! Thanks again!
