Did some diggin the last two days

On Wednesday I had my second outing of 2011. I decided to return to where I found the 41 quarter two weeks ago. Still some snow on the ground, but the diggin's a bit easier:)
Stayed there for a few hours and was rewarded with a few Wheaties and this 25 Merc.

For today's hunt, I went back to an area that I've been to several times.
I don't find much there anymore, but when I do... It's usually good.

I was there for roughly three hours with only a few shotgun shell tops and mangled bullets to show for it when I got a nice 80/81 hit on the mxt.
Because of the vdi, the sound, and the depth (4"), I was 99% sure I had a silver dime under the coil.
My only thought was... how old is it:)

Can you see the lady?

I found it a few inches in front of the nearest tree.
Notice all the #@$! still on the ground (Jim, that's Mainah for snow:smoke: )

Another #@## (snow) storm will be here tomorrow, so it might be a few days before I can get out again.
I guess I have to work, too:blink:

Thanks for lookin,
Matt

that mimic nickels. When you do get a target above nickel...dig it...there's a good chance it'll be "good". Thanks again, Magz:thumbup:
