I'd found one silver in each of my first three hunts this year. Today, I made it four for four
Just went to a regular spot today where the goin's slow, but there's always a chance for silver. I didn't find much for a couple hours , then I snagged a couple wheats and a nearly unidentifiable Buffalo nickel within a foot of each other... but no silver
Fortunately, I got a nice dime signal bout 1/2 hour later.Thus, extending my little start to 2011 silver streak.

Later on I got another decent signal bouncing between penny/dime roughly 4" down. The soil was frozen because it was in a shaded area.
As I chipped away, the probe was leaning toward dime... Is it merc, barber, or seated?!?!
