Did some sneaking up on this little girl after work today.

Was on my way home after work and saw her out in the tall grass.I have better luck in short grass, tall grass makes them uneasy. But the wind was right and I had the camera with me.Got about 20 feet from her and she was sniffing the air for me.Been trying to get up on this big buck with this awesome rack on him that's still in velvet and will be growing for a few more months. This rack is so big right now I can't beleave he can keep he head up.He's going to have one of the biggest racks I ever saw.Been trying to get up on him to get some photos but he's always in the tall grass and I'm not having any luck getting to him in the tall grass.I need a camera with a telephoto lens on it so I don't have to sneak on them.I just have a small pocket camera.Enjoy

She sneaks up and picks the tomatos off my plants one by one and drops them to the ground when she finds out they don't taste like green apples.................

The first 8 point was over a month ago - haven't seen him since - he should end up being a dandy.

All were taken with a Nikon D300 and a 200-400 Nikon lens.
Take good care
