I knew this older man who used an old Fisher 1265x with a little 8 inch coil, he could make some of the best finds, I paid attention when he spoke. Haven't seen him in awhile, I wonder.

honestly felt I picked up more in that 8 hour day than I had in the last few years.

I truly feel like I could have taken off his coil...painted a paper plate black...then stuck it on the end of his machine without him knowing it...and he would have STILL found silver

He opened my eyes to different signals and to what a good coin sounded like mixed in with crud.

He also cussed me when I found my first halfdime

Golddigger was the first person to teach me how to really understand what the Explorer is saying. A few hours with him put me years ahead on my learning curve.
