Difference between Smart and Gold models

the differences are really the gold has 25khz, the smart 15.5khz both have boost, the gold has seperate iron volume and fast/slow recovery switch and has been proven in bad or hot ground when put in hot ground the vista gold when in boost mode and slow recovery faint signals really become amplified, check out oh also both are 2 toned as well with iron disc to about foil, non ferrous to ferrous disc set up i personally have owned 4 the rg 1000, the RELIC, the gold and now the smart which i'm waiting to use due to frozen ground, but they are all good machines but the gold is the fastest in recovery speed and in iron seperation, the deus is its only equal and only half the price! talk to Barry at Extreme Detecting he'll set you straight!
