I've had the ETrac for a few weeks now and have hit most of the spots I hunted last year and haven't found a single silver, have picked up a few wheats and the Flying Eagle but that Digger Coil sure did a great job of finding the Silver

Just like what Randy and I have been saying all along. One isn't better than the other, they simply look at things differently.

I wasn't super impressed till I put that digger coil on, then it was like a whole new machine

But you see... that's what makes the 705 unique. It can be tailored to the task. Right tool for the job sort of thing. And given all the user controlled functions and options, there's little that the Xterra isn't pretty good at.

it's actually very easy to set up, light, very stable, runs a long time on 4 AA, and the screen is a lot easier to see than the ETrac screen ... Can't think of one bad thing to say about it ... I still have tons to learn on the ETrac and I'm sure I'll get better with it but just a salute to the 705 and Digger coil as far as finding silver ...
