Diggers show? What do you think?

Hi everyone. I finally saw my first episode of American Diggers. The one in Alaska. Really looks set up to me. They just happen to be digging in snow in a creek and come across a panning dish, saw blade, bear trap, and more. All look to be in mint shape right out of a antique store? We all have been there, digging. You just dont see those things. Think about it? Would people just say "hey, we got enough gold, lets just leave all the stuff on the ground and travel back to New York". Yeh right. And then nobody ever see's these things in this guys back yard laying on the ground? I don't buy it. I think those idems were planted and they waited for that fresh snow fall over soft ground to bring in the camera crew and film. Whats your thought? These realaity shows are so fixed.

I didnt care for the little I saw of it and wont be tuning in again. More and more I watch public tv, documentarys and such.
This type of show(the one you mentioned) is about the same as the Jerry Springer stuff of old.

I didnt find the show entertaining at all.

That Savage fellow is not a good tv personality. Hes just unlikable. Its poorly done.

I just dont see it lasting.

Youre right about leaving an area when they are finding thousands of dollars worth of antiques.

I agree, the show is stuff with a lot. how many people go around knocking on door after door, and working out deals, and telling people they are going to make money, and said there is no more treasure's in california or other states. He make's It sound like he is a pawn deal ,and why would you take your goods to a pawn shop. Bottom line the show is fix.

I watched all 3 shows and frankly, I think it's a "Crock of S--T"! Except that is, for the negative responses of home owners and property owners when asked to hunt their property. The main guy is loud, overbearing, obnoxious and reflects poorly on our sport when we try to emphasize politeness and respect, this guy shows up with a team of diggers, a backhoe and chain saws and of course finds relics worth thousands of dollars and easily sells them and shares the wealth with the property owner. After spending countless house swinging my MXT till my arm, back and knees are sore and finding little, I can still end my day saying I had a good day, but I doubt he could say the same. Obviously another phoney reality show made for pure entertainment...much like his used up wrestling career.
