DISCRIMINATION AT DEPHT

Hi guys i'm a french "OLD COINS HUNTER......." they are 10-15" deep !! i must penetrate a vey rocky mineralized ground !FORTUNATLY those coins are large& made of bronze !! they give the same broad response than silver !!

I'd like to know which explorer IS THE BEST FOR DISCRIMINATION AT DEPHT

PS:OF COURSE IRON RULES ALL AROUND

Hi Bruno- Those are some very nice Roman coins and in excellent condition for coming out of the ground. Based on my experience, all the Explorers are excellent for discriminating at almost any depth. The only time I have problems is on occasion I will dig a deep large iron items like a horseshoe but that is only for very iffy target. I also use the big Sun-Ray 12 inch coil which gives me more depth and coverage. Happy hunting!

I assume you are hunting open fields? I find several large cents which are close to what you are hunting. I hunt the fields in FERR and those large cents hit hard in the upper right corner on my SE. I dont have any problem finding them at 8 to 10 inches since they are so large. I just use a little disc to knock out the minerals.

explorers all the same but coils different. 1050 very nice quiet but not deep like pro or sef 10x12. if you know right place and want more coins try to use detector--explorer without discrimination, ferrous, manual sensitivity max what you can do,audio -1 -smooth. aand move slow like ninja.
