I am not a real religious man................ But I am smart enough to know God exist. I think what we have all just witnessed is no coincidence. Gustav came for a reason, it will make a lot of people in a lot of places take a hard look at themselves. Sarah Palin came for a reason.

You have something there! I am thankful for Gustav, because it brought much needed rain to Michigan where we were in drought conditions. It has brought back work to many of us who needed it. The farmers were blessed too. Sarah Palin, sure she came for a reason! God is real and He has a perfect plan!

Hello Deno and welcome to the forum, if you are new, and if not, welcome anyway! I don't think that hurricane Katrina woke very many up to know that God is real and they had better live their lives for Him in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Hurricane IKE is a category four right now and heading towards the Florida Keys and maybe into the Gulf right straight towards New Orleans again, unless it lessens in strength and turns in a different direction! Some people will wake up and cry out for forgiveness by repenting but many still won't, as they like to live their own way in ungodly life styles. All we can do is pray fhat God will help them to draw nearer to Him and then He will draw nearer to them and, hopefully, they will accept salvation by the saving grace of Jesus, His only begotten Son and the Savior of the world!
