DK, Since my electronic probe was broken, I went and bought a harbor freight special, it works ok for now. My new one is in the mail. I had to have one for a big hunt this weekend! Thanks
 
You are welcome Rick. As I said for the price, they are ok. They are not a deep seeking probe, but they do pick up fairly well. I have used both of mine alot, and the one had a switch problem, but seems ok now. If you are withing a 1/2" or so they will pick up. If the battery gets low, change it as the low battery makes it emit low tone, one I had trouble hearing. Batteries seem to last quite a long time. I would like to get a higher quality one, and thought about the one from Garrett. Need a good one before mid summer gets here and we head out on vacation.
