Do I need a new gator??

I have been using this Gator digging tool for at least 7 years. Its looking a little rough. Started out with a 71/2 inch blade, it is now 4 inches ,from sharpening it. The saw tooth edge is gone.Handle fell apart years ago so I had to fix er up some.
Its getting hard to dig wt this tiny little thing ,, hmmm,,, I not sure if its time though.

My detecting friends laugh at me when they see me using it. It is pitifull looking.
