Do Surfscanner detectors by Eric Foster disc out unwanted metals?

Hi Tony,
I use a Goldquest, the land version of the Aquasearch, on the beach.
It's a dig all detector as most PIs are, but it is surprising how well you can identify many ferrous targets buy the response. This is using a DD coil, and Reg has posted some info on the ferrous id potential of the Eric's PIs and DD coil combination.

The new Goldscan Eric is releasing has a discrimination facility, as has some of the top line MInelab PIs, but most users of the Minelab solution say that the depth is limited. User feedback on the Goldscan 5 should start arriving on the forums soon.

Hope this helps.
Cheers
Kev.
