Do the #s change with coil change ?

It can happen, in my experience it is very minor with the factory coils. The one thing that jumped out to me with an after market coil was a couple ground balanced to a lower number then my factory coils would for the same site, but didnt seem to mess with things that I could tell.

Wave a quarter in front of each coil and see for yourself .

In all my cases I've seen very little air test coin ID numbers change, but!
Depth reading seems to change, and
Ground balance settings to be the most effected.

I hate to sound like an idiot, but I have seen some posts ( on other unnamed sites ) that had me wondering if ordering the 4" coil would require remembering a new set of numbers.
Sitting in the house, waiting for the weather to improve, gives me too much time to think about all the negatives I might run into when I actually get back out to using my new F4..
I promised myself that I am going to get out more, and have researched a few locations to hit in spring. If I can, I want to educate myself on how to interpret VDI readings quickly, and then spend more time listening to than looking at the signal.... Does that sound like a plan???

I run an 11" (stock) DD coil and a 6.5" elliptical/concentric coil on my F-75. Both Fisher products. The display numbers are consistent for coins.
