just in case you or someone you know owns a dodge/chrysler with a 3.7 or 3.9 v6 (intrepid, dakota, durango and others) engine, they are poorly designed and suffer from oil sludge in the engine/oil pan causing oil pressure problems due to the oil pump getting clogged. i just spent over $1000.00 on my 2001 dakota having the oil pump screen, pickup tube, valve covers and heads cleaned. also replaced the waterpump and will need new ball joints and tie-rods.(about $700.00)
the truck only has 110,000 miles on it !!!!!!!!!. anyway i thought i would give everyone a heads up. do a search on the net and type in "dodge oil preasure"

They don't make them like they use to do and sorry to hear about the expenses you're having to go through, but don't have one myself....mine is a 91 Toyota Tersel and already put new ball joints and etc. on it, plus brakes taken care of! Cars can sure be expensive but better than hoofing it! :) God Bless! Betty
