THE EASTERN STATES HAVE FLOODS, WEST OF THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER A LOT OF THE LOWER STATES ARE BONE DRY. NOW THERE IS A LOW PRESSURE STORM IN THE GULF HEADED FOR LOUISIANA. NEW ORLEANS IS EXPECTING 20 INCHES OF RAIN. IS THEY GET THAT MUCH IN 24 hrs. THEY WILL GO UNDER AGAIN.THEY ARE PUMPING OUT ALL THE CANALS THEY CAN.
 
God's Word, in the books of Daniel and Revelation, God paints a picture of destruction to come throughout the world; including the United States and surrounding areas. With that in mind, we are to focus our attention to and upon our heavenly Father, through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. David, in the 23 Psalm, does just that. Here it is......

The Lord is my shepard;

He leads me beside still waters.

He leads me in the paths of righteousness
For His name's sake.

Yea, though I walk through the
Valley of the shadow of death,

For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff,
They comfort me.

You prepare a table before me
In the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
My cup runs over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
All the days of my life;
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
 
You need to read your Bible Sunbeard, even more, for the Lord will warn people who have turned away from God and those that do wrong to His Children! Read about the Lord's Day and it will not be pleasant for those who do not turn back to Jesus and worship God in Spirit and in truth! God is good but He is also a God of wrath and He will shake the earth as He is doing to fulfill the Book of Revelation! God warns us and then He will do His vengence, for He says, Vengence is Mine, saith the Lord! If we all don't wake up to what is going on in our gov't, our nation and the whole world we will be found asleep when Jesus comes to catch God's faithful saints up and take us Home to escape what is coming by the great tribulation upon all the earth! We are to get ready, remain ready, be watchful and be patient until the Lord comes for we know not the day or the hour in which He will catch us away from the dangers coming, although He is long suffering!!!!

Wake up, Look up, for our Lord is getting ready to come and take us Home and if not ready and serving Him, faithfully, then many will be left behind like the Five Foolish Virgins who didn't have enough oil for their lamps when He opened His chamber door and it was closed before they came back with their lamps burning brightly! Let no one loving Jesus be found lacking in faith, God's Holy Spiritual filling and godly wisdom! Warning the people, Michelle Bachman and Glen Beck are not joking, will help get many more saved and ready for Jesus' coming! God will indeed not be mocked and that includes calling His faithful Saints liars by mocking and laughing at our Biblical wisdom which is given us by God's Holy Spirit by diligently studying of the Holy Bible! I am one of those people, Mike. But, there is a place of protection in the Lord! However, if He chooses to lift His covering from His children, then I believe there is Grace to get through it - or if we don't survive.. "To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord." BUT, I'm claiming that protection!!!! LOL

:( Sorry to see that post Ma Betty. You typically are very encouraging to read. I assure you, I do read my Bible (Those were scriptures i posted). And I know my Jesus. Since I've pretty much given up my detecting Its probably best I move on as well. God be with you. I hope to see you all in the kingdom.

Hi Sunbeard! I didn't say you didn't read your Bible, but needed to read it even more! Actually, we are to study it, diligently, and be faithful to our Lord and Savior Jesus! Some may understand (interpret it one way and others may understand the scriptures in different ways, but it takes godly wisdom to study the whole Bible and get understanding through God's Holy Spirit! I know I don't know or understand everything, as we see now as through a dark mirror, but we will know what He is all about when we see Jesus face to face! There will be a lot of shaking going on with many disasters, including hurricanes, tornadoes, droughs and floods! Jesus says they will increase more and more and these will be the beginning of the birth pangs that the end of the age as we know it, is drawing nigh! God doesn't cause these Himself, but allows it to happen by ruling earth's nature and allowing mankind free-will to perform what He has planned to be happening before Jesus is coming to get His faithful saints! The Book of Revelation with prophecies and other books, where prophecy is told for warning us, has been fulfilled already but more is being fulfilled in our day and happening frequently more and more! I do hope you will stay with us and even though, we don't agree, in some of the Biblical Scriptures, we are still brother and sister in Christ Jesus! May God Bless you and yours and guide and direct your footsteps with more godly wisdom by HIs Holy Spirit and His Holy Word! Amen! I have to post what I believe to be true, even though others believe differently!

read liviticus 18 and go over the list of sins and we are doing all of them and have fallen under GODS wrath, and judgment. they say pray for rain no I say Repent for rain ,
 
Welcome GunnarMN and, yes, we need to repent for our sinning against God for all these things that are happening in our nation and to the people, for God Jehovah in Jesus' name, to forgive us and turn us around to worshiping Him in Spirit and in Truth! Everytime the Israelites forgot their One, True God and worshiped false gods they were conquered by their enemies, as disaster and destruction came upon them without protection from their Holy God! Let us pray for His forgiveness by repenting of all our sinfulness which begins with Christians and at our homes first! Amen! :angel: Ma Betty
