Does anyone know how well the T2 handles the harshest of mineralized soils...like the red ground in Virginia?

I used my T-2's near the Brandy Station area fairly soon after they came out and I thought it did a whale of a job in all metal. With it's iron and phase readings, I knew exactly what I was dealing with in the constantly changing ground conditions. It was about as challenging as it gets at least by my experience. It varied from red to purple. :) Rebalancing every couple steps (manually, not grab) especially if changing elevation. 8" was about all I could get on a cuff button. I don't know if that was the limit or if it's just the way the targets I went over worked out. I had a version 5 and 6 there and although they both got equal depth of detection, the 5 actually ID'd deeper. I have no way of knowing if that was normal or just how my two were. I also used another non-metered detector that had a threshold based manually GB'd all metal mode and it did quite well also. :)
