I do and it is my favorite 8.5" coil. I like the tone differences in iron and modern trash not to mention that it loves silver and gets very good depth in my dirt.

I would like to hear more about why you use this coil. Also do you use the 6" or the 9" in the LF coil?

I got one because of it's alleged love for deep silver. However, I have only used it once but, the place was so heavy with trash that it about drove me nuts. Sorry no help here.

It's handy in picnic table areas for ignoring small surface foil. It gives a very soft, almost muted response to the small bits of foil.
