Does the AT PRO have a thresh hold sound ?

NO! the only thing I don't like about the AT Pro so far.

Same here!:| I wish it had a threshold, but it doesn't.

Get a hand held recorder and make a recording of a threshold and carry it in your shirt pocket so you don't get lonely.HAAAA. I always ran mine at a very faint hum just to let me know the tector was still humming along. About all threshold does these days is establish audio for pinpoint and all metal. Not like the old BFO days.

Some of my best finds have come from investigating little disturbances to the threshold where the target was either to deep for the discriminator to let a ding through or just beyond the coils field. Going back and finding out what made the threshold change has made the difference.

I agree, the thresh hold sound does have a purpose, I use it for the deeper stuff too, I have another machine that doesn't have it and always wonder how deep it is

I got rid of my Tesoros because they had no threshold. I wanna hear whats going on with my detector by hearing the ground and anything in it. There are times I have to look at my AT Pro just to make sure it is turned on.
