Or do I need to go with the garrets pro pointer?
any thoughts on this?
Thanks in advance....

make or model detector. With some it is there but not heard, and with others you might hear a little raspy or chattery noise. It might be eliminated or reduced it you position the search coil and/or control housing a little farther from the pinpointer.

Personally, I use a Garrett Pro Pointer most of the time because that is what I had when I switched over to Teknetics detectors. Better depth and general performance than I saw from a Vibra Probe as well as lighter and handier. For me, I usually pinpoint just fine with the detector so my use of a pinpointer is seldom, and when I do it is brief so there's little need for concern about interference, and I am using ALL of the Teknetics models.

Thanks for the insight Monte, I have almost made the decision to switch over totally to the Teknetics family. Your helpful posts/ replies are always useful to me and most others on this forum.
Thanks again....

I had an older vibraprobe Jay..It really did effect the T2........ constant noise when Vibraprobe was on... Solved the problem with a Garrett Probe..Garrett is deeper too...

Thanks Elton... I'll live with it til I can swap for one or buy one.... I have had it talk to detectors in the past, but wasn't sure how it would react with the T2.
Thanks again....

The Garrett Pro Pointer is simply incredible. It saves so much time and saves a few coins too. Another thing I did was by a Lesche knife when I was back in America, another time saver...
Oh, no problems at all with the the Garrett and my Omega or when I had the T2.
